Liner Notes

This series started with a simple idea; we wanted to create short music documentaries of our favorite records for a fraction of the budget. These pieces were intensively researched videos that dived deep into what it took to make a classic, one record at a time. I pitched the original concept and worked with a few great coworkers to make this show a reality.

For this piece I created and pitched the show idea, researched and wrote the script, produced the audio voice over recording, directed the lead motion graphics artist, edited the audio and the flow of the visuals, and published the final piece on all of Pitchfork’s channels.

This piece was part of a larger, Pitchfork site wide anniversary celebration of this classic record. On this project, I was the liaison between the writing team and the video team, researched images, produced the audio voice over recording, directed the lead motion graphics artist, edited the audio as well as the flow of the visuals, and published the final piece on all of Pitchfork’s channels.
